Rob Zombie returns for Halloween 2
It is true! Rob Zombie will return to the writer/director seat for the sequel to his 2007's 'Halloween' remake. The production will begin in March and it is highly possible that the movie will come out in autumn 2009. The story will take place right after the ending of the remake. It's not yet officially confirmed, but the rumour has it that Scout Taylor-Compton, Tyler Mane, Malcolm McDowell, Daeg Faerch and Sheri Moon Zombie will all return for another bloody ride. The only way to describe these news is - 'Thank God'! And on the left you can check the official teaser poster.

December issue of Russian Billboard magazine is out, and once again, there are some articles written by me. In this issue I wrote big article about Christina Aguilera's career, there is also an article about Anastacia and my interview with Kelly Rowland. I reviewed new albums of Anastacia, Sugababes and Pink. But even without my materials there are tons of extremely interesting information for any music fan, so be sure to buy this great magazine.

Universal Music Russia reports that 'Heavy Rotation' already reached the GOLD status in Russia (meaning over 10,000 copies of the album were sold). And it's only in 1 week after release! That made Anastacia's new album third fastest selling albums in Russia this year, following Metallica's 'Death Magnetic' and The Pussycat Dolls 'Doll Domination'. And here's also the Top10 best selling albums of the week (November, 3 - 10) in 'Respublica' shops. I'm over the moon with these news!

October 27 || 27 Октября - Hi! Fantastic news! Girls Aloud's 19th single 'The Promise' went straight to #1 in UK official chart. It's their 4th #1 after hits 'Sound of the Underground', 'I'll Stand by You' and collaboration with Sugababes 'Walk This Way'. The single was already sold in 77110 copies. Well done, girls! Band's 5th studio album 'Out of Contol' comes out on November, 3. And you can take a listen on Kimberley's interview on Radio 1, talking about getting another #1 and some other interesting stuff!

~For me Lady GaGa was the biggest discovery of 2008. She's such a unique artist, that it's hard to describe what is the best part of her music. Space Cowboy recently made a medley of the songs from her debut album 'The Fame', so if you haven't heard this amazing LP, you should definitely check this out!
~'Poker Face' is Lady GaGa's official second single. It's great catchy song with amazing lyrics and a great follow-up to her debut single 'Just Dance'
~The Veronicas announced their next, 5th Australian single and it is going to be a banger 'Popular'. You can't go wrong with the single like this, even though I do hope there will be more singles from 'Hook Me Up' album in the future ('All I Have', 'This Is How It Feels' and 'Revenge Is Sweeter (Than You Ever Were)' would all be perfect choices)
~'Echo' is a track from Ciara's upcoming third album 'Fantasy Ride', which comes out on December, 9th. The song is hot and catchy - way better then Ci-Ci's current single 'Go Girl'

I was lucky enough to take an interview with lovely Kelly Rowland (who came to Moscow for a club gig and several events) on October, 17th for December issue of Russian version of 'Billboard' magazine. We talked about her solo career, future of Destiny's Child, her acting career and many different things! Not only I got my copy of 'Freddy vs Jason' DVD and 'Work' single signed, but our photographer also made a great photo, which will be published in a magazine. Should I say how much I love my job?

~Katy Perry is something between Pink and Girls Aloud with her raunchy and cheeky songs such as 'Ur So Gay' and 'Hot'n'Cold'. The debut single off her upcoming album 'One of The Boys' (coming out this July) is the track called 'I Kissed A Girl', which pretty much explains what Katy's style is all about. It's a great pop record with a rocky vibe and hilarious lyrics. With the right promotion, Katy may become really big.
~Amazing Jewel is back with her brand new country-influenced album 'Perfectly Clear' and I've uploaded the title track for you - great ballad in classical Jewel's style (which is obviously has nothing to do with her biggest hit yet, 2003's 'Intuition').

Their 1st single will A-side release of 'Like Me' and 'Stupid Shit'. Both songs got music videos and it looks like Girlicious are going to beat PCD on being over the top sexy and trashy. Trashy, but fun. By the way 'Like Me' sounds great - check it out!
~The Veronicas have finally released their amazing second album 'Hook Me Up' in the States. US release featurs a brand new bonus track 'Goodbye To You'. It's a cover of 80s hit, it sounds almost the same as 'Untouched' and it turns into ubertrash right at 01:47. Yes, it's amazing! Just like everything these aussie sisters are doing!
~Today brand new The Pussycat Dolls track called 'When I Grow Up' leaked and it looks like it's going to be the 1st single from their upcoming studio album. As Nicole's solo album was cancelled (at least until Dolls' new LP comes out), the 5-piece band (as Carmit left earlier this year) will continue together. The new album is set to be released this August. 'When I Grow Up' is great, it's poppy, catchy and funny.
~The whole world is going crazy about Duffy and it's easy to understand why. This lovely 23-year-old lady from Wales just released an album 'Rockferry' full of nice retropop and soul songs, the best of them is deffinately her debut single 'Mercy', which is, according to Duffy, is about sexual liberty. This is the next Amy Winehouse and hopefully this one won't have and drug/alcohol issues.

The filmings of a new 'Friday the 13th' movie are going hot. Movie's producer, Brad Fuller, recently posted on his blog such information: "On Wednesday, I will begin six weeks with Jason Voorhees. Already two weeks into production, I can assure you of a couple of things. The cast is awesome and most are hardcore fans of the original series - and as such are committed to making the best Friday the 13th yet. If there were no blood at all in the movie (there is tons) it would get a hard R-rating just for nudity and sexual situations alone. And finally, and most importantly Jason Voorhees is a bloodthirsty maniac with a knack for killing in new and original ways that will satisfy even the most hardcore gore hound. Please check back here often as I will update frequently and try to sneak some photos of the goings on from camp Crystal Lake". Later he posted this on set photo, featuring himself and his partner Andrew Form on set of the movie. On top of that, new young Jason was casted - he will be played by Caleb Guss.

Here are the latest news on 'Friday the 13th' reamke cast. Jason Vorhees will be played by Derek Mears (The Hills Have Eyes 2). Danielle Panabaker (Mr. Brooks, Sky High), Aaron Yoo (Disturbia, 21), Travis Van Winkle (Transformers) and Amanda Righetti (Return To The House On Haunted Hill) also joined the cast alongside Jared Padalecki (House Of Wax). The movie, that will take place after Jason's resurrection, will come out on Friday, 13th February 2009.

Creepers returns
'Jeepers Creepers 3' is happening and so far it's sounds incredibly interesting. Not only Victor Salva, the writer and director of both previous movies, returns, but Ray Wise (from 'Jeepers Creepers 2') and Gina Phillips (from the original one) may returning as well. The movie's title will be 'Jeepers Creepers 3: The Creeper Walks Among Us' and the script is already in work.

There are finally some casting news on the upcoming 'Friday the 13th' remake. Jared Padalecki ('House of Wax', 'Supernatural' series) is in the final negotiations to star as a lead character, who is investigating what happens on the Crystal Lake Camp, where hockey-masked killer Jason Vorhees is out for a bloody ride.

Another Bloody Valentine
Once again about horror remake (bored already?). One of the 80s slasher 'My Bloody Valentine' (deffinately not the best one) is getting its remake directed by Patrick Lussier, who made a pretty good 'Dracula 2000' movie in the past. The remake will come out on January 23, 2009 with Jamie King ('Sin City', 'Tripper') as the lead and will be shot in 3-D. With 'Final Destination 4' releases in 2009 and in 3-D too it's interesting if the cinemas will aks us to use special 3-D glasses twice. (

Julie Benz, vampire Darla of Buffy and 'Angel' series, received a role in 'Saw V', coming out in October, 2008. Julie, whos recent works include 'Rambo 4' and 'Dexter' TV-series, will star alongside series' star Tobin Bell and Betsy Russell, who played Jigsaw's wife in the 4th movie.

Meeting the legend
On Saturday, 15th I met the legendary director George A. Romero ('Night of The Living Dead', 'Land of the Dead', etc), who came to Moscow to promote his latest zombie flick 'Diary of the Dead'. He presented the movie in the 'Justo' nightclub and I was lucky enough to take an autograph, make a picture and shake a hand of the famous horror maker! ~Pin Me Down is Russell Lissack of 'Blockparty' as a musiucian and Milena Mepris as a vocalist - and it's defiinately a winning formula! Their debut single electro/pop/rock tune 'Cryptic' caused quite a fuzz and received lots of possitive reviews from the magazines like 'NME' and was featured on the famous 'Kitsune Maison Compilation'. The intro for the song is totally amazing and sounds great as my ringtone already more than a month!

We'll see Shantel VanSanten ('Finding tATu'), Krista Allen ('Feast' and upcoming 'Feast 2'), Andy Fiscella (upcoming 'The Stepfather' remake), Nick Zano (upcoming 'Joy Ride: End of the Road'), Bobby Campo ('Vampire Bats') and Haley Webb all escaping the racecar crash and then starting to die one-by-one via the Death's plan. The movie, directed by David R. Ellis ('Final Destination 2'), will be shot in 3-D with the budget at $43 million and starts filming this month in New Orleans with the release date in 2009.

Amber gets a Stepfather
Amber Heard, star of the 'Hidden Palms' series and long-delayed 'All the Boys Love Mandy Lane' thriller, joined the cast of the upcoming remake of the 80's classical thriller 'Stepfather'. The movie centers around the teenager (Penn Badgley), who discovers that his soon-to-be stepfather is a serial killer, who killed his previous family. Meanwhile 'All The Boys Love Mandy Lane' is finally set to be released in US on April, 25th.

Russian 'Halloween' DVD
So Russian DVD release of Rob Zombie's 'Halloween' is today, but I think it'll take a couple of days for the DVD to hit Russian stores. We're getting a 2-disc edition with lots of bonues, although it's bot clear if the version of movie will be an unrated cut (like in US) or a theatralical one. Below you can check the artwork.

Transformers sexy star Megan Fox finally gets some lead role in a horror movie. Even though it's a horror comedy. Karyn Kusama is directing the flick called 'Jennifer's Body' about a cheerleader Jennifer (Fox), who is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a Minnesota farming town. The only one who can stop the massacre is Jennifer's geek friend Needy (Amanda Seyfried from Mean Girls). The shootings start in March in Vancouver.

Dirt's back!
Dirt - sexy and risky TV series with Courtney Cox as a bitchy editor of 'DirtNow' tabloid Lucy Spiller, the 1st season of which was released on DVD back in December, returns with the second season on March, 2 on US channel FX. This season starts with Lucy getting out of her coma (after Julia Malory, whos career was destroyed with Lucy's help, stabed her at the end of the 1st season) and ready to expose some celebrities' secrets on the pages of her magazine. Cox commented that they'll make things a little bit lighter this season and some storylines will be based on the real-life events. Cox also said that she'd gladly spoofed Britney Spears' latest dramas. You can discuss the series on my forum.

Final Destination 4 major news
Craig Perry, producer of the new 'Final Destination' installment, revealed to Bloody-Disgusting website what we'll see at the beginning of the next movie. The disaster will be a car crash at the high-speed race with people from the audience getting killed as well. He also said that they'll be careful with the whole 3-D thing, as they want it to add more drama to the film. Well, let's hope they'll end up making a better movie, than the previous one. The opening sequence sounds interesting and deffinately unexpecting. The movie starts shooting this March in New Orleans with the 2009 release date.

It'll happen...tomorrow!
Tomorrow is Russian premiere of probably one of the most anticipated movie of the year - J.J.Abrams' (man behind 'Lost' series) Cloverfield about a giant-monster, which attacks New York. Shot mostly on the hand camera and shown from the perception of the several young people, who very at the party right before the attack, the movie has a unique PR-company, as even the title was revealed only a couple of months ago. The main quetion is how will the actual monster look like, as promotional stills and trailers haven't featured it. So there's only 1 day left for us to know the truth.

Fool again
Recently 'April Fool's Day' remake's theatralical release was cancelled, and now the movie is set for the DVD release on March, 25th. The movie starts Scout Taylor-Compton (Laurie Strode in Rob Zombie's 'Halloween') and Josh Henderson ('Desperate Housewives'). Today the DVD cover-art was revealed and it actually looks awfully cheap and old-fashioned. The original 1986's movie was never a big hit, but the remake fever isn't over yet, so filmmakers try to make new versions of anything, they possibly can.

Trailer for upcoming 'Prom Night' remake was premiered some time ago, but unfortunately it almost destroyed all the expectations - the movie does look like a predictable and boring old-fashioned horror and PG-13 rating surely won't add any charm. Anyway take a look.

~Last year's best newcomer Kat DeLuna is back with another banger - and it's almost as gorgeous as her summer smash hit 'Whine Up'! The tune 'Run the Show' features a cameo from hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes and has the potential to finally push Kat into the spotlight, as her debut album '9 Lives' wasn't as popular as she deserved. I personally totally adore this girl and wish her all the best in 2008
~Beautiful and incredibly talented Jewel is back with a new single and a new label. The new song is called 'Stronger Woman' and it's a classical Jewel style. It's no 'Intuition', but still it's very nice to hear something new from Jewel
~Nicole Scherzinger will try to get her solo back on track with this new single called 'Puakenikeni' (does she really think such title would 'work'?). The song features Jamaican duo 'Brick&Lace', whos biggest hit was 2006's 'Love is Wicked'. 'Puakenikeni' is a very well tune, but I highly doubt it is the song that'll rock the charts. I don't really understant what the problem with Nicole's previous singles was - both, 'Whatever U Like' and 'Baby Love', deserved much more attention than they received. Anyway good luck to Nicole!
~Cobra Starship band became popular after their song 'Snakes on The Plane (Bring It)' for the soundtrack of the 2006's same titled horror movie with Samuel L. Jackson's. Now they have just released their second album 'Viva La Cobra!'. 'The City Is At War' is their current single and it's a really great electro-rock song. The music video, which was premiered just a couple of days ago, only makes it better - catch it on YouTube!

It is true! Rob Zombie will return to the writer/director seat for the sequel to his 2007's 'Halloween' remake. The production will begin in March and it is highly possible that the movie will come out in autumn 2009. The story will take place right after the ending of the remake. It's not yet officially confirmed, but the rumour has it that Scout Taylor-Compton, Tyler Mane, Malcolm McDowell, Daeg Faerch and Sheri Moon Zombie will all return for another bloody ride. The only way to describe these news is - 'Thank God'! And on the left you can check the official teaser poster.

That made Anastacia's new album third fastest selling albums in Russia this year, following Metallica's 'Death Magnetic' and The Pussycat Dolls 'Doll Domination'. And here's also the Top10 best selling albums of the week (November, 3 - 10) in 'Respublica' shops. I'm over the moon with these news!

Right now it looks like it's going to be quite serious and really scary, not like any 'Friday' movie before. October 5 || 5 Октября - Hi! Christina Milian's fantastic new single 'Us Against The World' will be premiered on MySpace tomorrow, but you can listen to it on Horror~Music already now. The single is Christina's debut on MySpace Records and a huge step up in every possible way. It's a great strong ballad and I can't wait to hear her next 4th studio album, which will be released as spring 2009. Christina will also play the lead charactet in upcoming 'Bring It On 5' movie. 'Jeepers Creepers 3' is happening and so far it's sounds incredibly interesting. Not only Victor Salva, the writer and director of both previous movies, returns, but Ray Wise (from 'Jeepers Creepers 2') and Gina Phillips (from the original one) may returning as well. The movie's title will be 'Jeepers Creepers 3: The Creeper Walks Among Us' and the script is already in work.
Once again about horror remake (bored already?). One of the 80s slasher 'My Bloody Valentine' (deffinately not the best one) is getting its remake directed by Patrick Lussier, who made a pretty good 'Dracula 2000' movie in the past. The remake will come out on January 23, 2009 with Jamie King ('Sin City', 'Tripper') as the lead and will be shot in 3-D. With 'Final Destination 4' releases in 2009 and in 3-D too it's interesting if the cinemas will aks us to use special 3-D glasses twice. (
Julie Benz, vampire Darla of Buffy and 'Angel' series, received a role in 'Saw V', coming out in October, 2008. Julie, whos recent works include 'Rambo 4' and 'Dexter' TV-series, will star alongside series' star Tobin Bell and Betsy Russell, who played Jigsaw's wife in the 4th movie.
Amber Heard, star of the 'Hidden Palms' series and long-delayed 'All the Boys Love Mandy Lane' thriller, joined the cast of the upcoming remake of the 80's classical thriller 'Stepfather'. The movie centers around the teenager (Penn Badgley), who discovers that his soon-to-be stepfather is a serial killer, who killed his previous family. Meanwhile 'All The Boys Love Mandy Lane' is finally set to be released in US on April, 25th.
Transformers sexy star Megan Fox finally gets some lead role in a horror movie. Even though it's a horror comedy. Karyn Kusama is directing the flick called 'Jennifer's Body' about a cheerleader Jennifer (Fox), who is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a Minnesota farming town. The only one who can stop the massacre is Jennifer's geek friend Needy (Amanda Seyfried from Mean Girls). The shootings start in March in Vancouver.
Dirt - sexy and risky TV series with Courtney Cox as a bitchy editor of 'DirtNow' tabloid Lucy Spiller, the 1st season of which was released on DVD back in December, returns with the second season on March, 2 on US channel FX. This season starts with Lucy getting out of her coma (after Julia Malory, whos career was destroyed with Lucy's help, stabed her at the end of the 1st season) and ready to expose some celebrities' secrets on the pages of her magazine. Cox commented that they'll make things a little bit lighter this season and some storylines will be based on the real-life events. Craig Perry, producer of the new 'Final Destination' installment, revealed to Bloody-Disgusting website what we'll see at the beginning of the next movie. The disaster will be a car crash at the high-speed race with people from the audience getting killed as well. He also said that they'll be careful with the whole 3-D thing, as they want it to add more drama to the film. Well, let's hope they'll end up making a better movie, than the previous one. The opening sequence sounds interesting and deffinately unexpecting. The movie starts shooting this March in New Orleans with the 2009 release date.
Tomorrow is Russian premiere of probably one of the most anticipated movie of the year - J.J.Abrams' (man behind 'Lost' series) Cloverfield about a giant-monster, which attacks New York. Shot mostly on the hand camera and shown from the perception of the several young people, who very at the party right before the attack, the movie has a unique PR-company, as even the title was revealed only a couple of months ago. The main quetion is how will the actual monster look like, as promotional stills and trailers haven't featured it. So there's only 1 day left for us to know the truth.
Recently 'April Fool's Day' remake's theatralical release was cancelled, and now the movie is set for the DVD release on March, 25th. The movie starts Scout Taylor-Compton (Laurie Strode in Rob Zombie's 'Halloween') and Josh Henderson ('Desperate Housewives'). Today the DVD cover-art was revealed and it actually looks awfully cheap and old-fashioned. The original 1986's movie was never a big hit, but the remake fever isn't over yet, so filmmakers try to make new versions of anything, they possibly can.
