Christina Milian was born in New Jersey and raised in Waldorf, Maryland. As she said once: "I remember being 4 years old, and I would watch TV and try to get inside the television. That's how much I wanted to be a star". At the age of 7 she's getting her own agent, but she hasn't won a couple of auditions. 2 years later the managers called her back and it gave her a lot of opportunities to the future. "When I first moved here (LA) at 13, I met a lot of people in the music industry and they'd ask me to demo songs and they wanted to sign me," says Milian. "My mom and I weren't familiar with the music business yet and there was a lot that we needed to know, because you don't have as many rules and laws with the music business. With acting, you have unions and agents. With music, you're on your own. By the time I turned 17, that's when we really pursued my music career."
Her voice sounded in 'The Bug's Life' in 1998 and she appered at future hit series 'Charmed'. In 1999 she gets episodic role in teen hit 'American Pie' and in 'The Wood'. Finally, her first single 'AM to PM' with the shocking sucess jumped into 3rd place in 'UK Top 30' in spring 2002. Her next single, classic pop track 'When you look at me' followed by debut selftitled album, which included 'Get away' with Ja Rule. Christina writen Jennifer Lopez's hit 'Play' and in autumn 2002 sang with Romeo his hit 'It's all gravy'.
Her music career taked a vacation, while Christina was filmed in 2 movies, which were released in January, 2004. First - 'Love don't cost a thing' with Nick Cannon - remake of 1987's 'Can't buy me love', in which young Patrick Dempsey ('Scream 3') stars. Christina got main role of Paris Morgan. And her second movie - 'Torque' with Martin Henderson and Ice Cube, in which Christina played hot biker chick Nina. Her next role was in a comedy 'Man of the House' with Tommy Lee Jones and Monica Keena ('Freddy Vs. Jason'). But before this, we've seen Christina in 'Be Cool' with John Travolta, Uma Thurman and Danny DeVito!
And in spring 2004 Christina returned into musical buisness with hot R'n'B track 'Dip it Low' and 'It's about time' album, which was released on June, 15th.
After a little break, Christina returned into the music industry in 2006 with the new album 'So Amazin', produced by rising producer stars Cool & Dre and catchy single 'Say I' recorded with Young Jeezy. Christina also spent 2 monts in Romania filming in a horror movie 'Pulse', that is coming into cinemas on July, 14th, 2006. It seems that Christina Milian seriosly wanna become a superstar and there's nothing will stand on her way!
